Your Alberta Teachers' Association is looking for teacher volunteers to help us out with member-to-member outreach.

We will be using phone-banking and text-banking technologies to outreach with members and help raise awareness about current issues in education. Volunteers are needed to start conversations with members via phone or text message. We will provide training, technology and scripts that you will use to carry out these conversations. You will require a computer with an internet connection and possibly a cell phone (using a downloaded app that would keep your phone number private).

Volunteers will be asked to participate in a 90-minute webinar and then will be asked to contribute about 2 - 4 hours over the following weeks. Volunteer time will be required during evenings and weekends.
